On the ground floor, there’s a kitchen with a dining space, tv area, and a bathroom. Head upstairs to the second floor where you’ll find a cozy bedroom and another bathroom. The top floor has a second bedroom and a sunny veranda, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or enjoying the evening breeze. From here, you can step up to the roof terrace and take in the views-an amazing place to unwind with a sundowner.

We really loved staying at Ilse house! Is near everything but outside the noisy area. In just some minutes walk you can get everywhere. We loved the little rooftop! You can easily found some free parking near the house! Ilse was really welcoming and responsive! A great spot to stay in Crete!!

Both flat and host are awesome. The street was beautiful and silent but just in cemetery of historic district. House is just marvelous and there are 3 chilling areas: downstairs in front of the flat just like locals do, a terrace and a roof with chillout zone. Neighborhood is just perfect. There are cafes, shops and restaurants just a minute from the house but the flat is in a very silent street which makes it a perfect location. Highly recommend!!!! Would love to come back soon!

I stayed with two friends for a week in Ilses apartment. The house is super nice and modernly furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace. You have a beautiful view over Rethymno and can enjoy the sunset/sunset. Ilse is totally likeable and was always available immediately.
We were completely satisfied and would recommend anyone to book this accommodation.

I was there with 3 friends, we all enjoyed the place very much. Especially the roof terrace is great, you have a beautiful view of the mountains and can watch the sunset.
The location was also super many different restaurants within walking distance. The path to the beach where there are many different activities is also a 15-minute walk away.

Ilse is a wonderful, attentive host that went out of her way at every turn to be helpful and enhance the stay. The flat is spotless and spacious and well-equipped…and the view from the rooftop is. breathtaking!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ilse’s. It is perfectly situated in Rethymno old town, so that you are no more than 10-15 minutes stroll from the beach, harbour, and shops and restaurants are on the doorstep. Ilse was extremely helpful and responsive whenever I had questions and throughout the booking process.
It’s exactly as shown in the photos, and the rooftop is a wonderful addition.
I will say if you struggle with stairs then it’s probably not for you, but if that’s not a consideration it’s a perfect set up.
